18 Nov, 2008 12:13 PM
"IT'S a very sad feeling around Kogarah now,'' said Kogarah Chamber of Commerce president Megan Barker who runs Aangela's Florist in Railway Parade.

"We are all sad to hear that the St George icon has passed,'' she said. "I just hope that they will adhere to their promise that there will be minimal jobs lost or branches closed.

"There is a lot of uncertainty.

"People don't know what's around the corner.

"They are in a bad place.

"They don't know if they will have a job.''
