KOGARAH Seniors Computer Club teaches basic and advanced computer, digital camera and internet skills for those aged 50 and over.
Norma Thorburn started the classes in February 2000.
"I was tutoring at Gymea and would see how enthusiastic and excited seniors were to learn," Mrs Thorburn, the resident computer teacher, said.
"I had run Kogarah Meals on Wheels service for 16 years so I knew the area and thought this was the perfect spot to teach."
The computer course guides participants through Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint and then helps them feel comfortable with the internet.
In the digital photography class, people can expect to learn how to upload, select and edit images.
Ken McRae teaches the internet and digital photography course.
Each class is 60 minutes — except for the digital photography class which is 90 minutes — and runs for five weeks.
Classes start on Monday, January 30.
