New friends a big part of getting educated

12 Feb, 2012 07:00 AM
YEAR 6 captains of Arncliffe Public School, Chris O'Leary and Yasmin Kostoglou, said making friends was a great part of being at school.

"I'm lucky because I already had a lot of friends at this school with me when I started," Chris said.

"I also like our kind and friendly teachers."

Yasmin said she enjoyed learning and lunchtime.

"During class I like how we cover different topics each term," Yasmin said.

"We have a great school library with a good range of books, and at the end of term two and four we have a talent show competition called Star Search — anyone with talent can audition."
