Bangers begin to add originals to playlist

09 Feb, 2012 02:31 PM
FANS of Bang Shang a Lang, appearing tomorrow night at Taren Point Bowling Club, will find the Bangers have added some original songs to their repertoire.

You can catch them at Club Cronulla on February 24 if you miss the Taren Point gig.

Bang Shang a Lang is a high-energy party band whose members include the Red Wiggle, Murray Cook, on guitar. On the band's website, Cook was reminded that he could be the first guitarist young fans had ever seen.

" I always think that if it inspires kids to play guitar later on that would be great," he said.

"It would be nice if in 15 years I read that somebody got into guitar playing because of the Wiggles. It would be fantastic."
