Buble visits Peakhurst

17 Nov, 2009 03:00 AM
CANADIAN crooner Michael Buble will appear at Peakhurst as part of his Australian visit.

The singer will perform at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church this Friday, November 20, as part of a live broadcast by Channel Nine's Today Show.

Buble is in Australia to promote his new CD Crazy Love, the first single from which is Haven't Met You Yet.

Liane Gill, of Peakhurst, won a competition to have the show visit her neighbourhood.

Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson will begin the broadcast at 6am. The Lugarno Lions will provide a free barbecue to spectators and crew throughout the morning from 5.30am.

"They are expecting about a thousand people,'' Lugarno Lions secretary Bob Walker said.

"It will be a standard breakfast, bacon eggs, sausages nothing fancy,'' he said.

Any excess food will be donated to Exodus, an organisation that feeds the homeless.

I might visit the Buble Bible bash in Peakhurst in order to get a free breakfast. I love sausages! I hate music!Keep the noise down, please when I am there!

My Dear Sadiq - If you hate the music and you are not religious, please stay away from events that have nothing to do with you in order just to fill your belly with free food! Leave some food and space for people who are attending for better motives than yours.

Hi Liz, Yes, you just show up. He will be there from 7am to 9am, but I would advise getting there as early as possible.
