Lauren is stepping out in spring threads

SPRING has sprung, and so has the fashion scene in Sydney. As the warmer weather sets in, new season trends make their way on to urban streets.

Lauren Phizack was one of the fashionistas spotted strolling through the city's southern suburbs, and the Leader was there to capture her fashion moment. She wore skinny-leg jeans, a white cotton singlet, a casual jacket, and caramel-coloured closed-toe wedge heels.

As the owner of botique Bowerbird Collections, Lauren knows the importance of accessorising any outfit to create a standout look. She wore multi-tiered beads, ``Nicole Richie'' wide-rimmed sunglasses, and carried a black, studded satchel bag.

Her ``boyfriend'' cap added an element of preppy, American-college inspired glamour. She also wore silver stud earrings from Tiffany & Co.

``This is not what I usually wear,'' Lauren said. ``I tend to go for more of a girly and glam look, but then again I like to be different and quirky.''

Lauren, who also works as an international flight attendant, said one of the perks of her flight job was the overseas shopping experiences: ``I regularly shop at Singapore, Los Angeles and in Europe. The styles there are great.''
