IT IS not a new phenomenon, but blogging has certainly climbed the popularity stakes when it comes to depicting visionary images of the fashion arena.
Caitlin Bradley of Blakehurst (right) started blogging about a year ago.
She set out to share the ups and downs of being in what she described as a "stick-figure world".
The self-confessed shoe addict created her blog "Closet Confessions" in the hope it would give fellow "plus-size women" tips on how they can stay in the style loop.
"My blog is a pictorial of what I wear, what inspires me and what makes her happy," she said.
"I love fashion, but as a bigger girl I understand that most women shy away from expressing who they are. I created it as a way of building my self-confidence."
Caitlin's blog also struck a chord with international readers, and she landed a spot to blog at New York's Full-Figured Fashion Week in June.
She was chosen out of more than 200 applicants to go to the week-long event with other bloggers.

Teen workshops
TEENS who want to learn about fashion will have the chance to learn about sketching, sewing and design at a series of workshops this week.
Amy Lyons of Gymea Bay will host the workshops. She studied fashion design in Ireland and works at Australian label, Willow.
Workshops will be at Engadine Community Centre at 10am to 4pm this Saturday for primary school children, 7-12 years, and noon to 6pm this Sunday for high school students.
The workshops will be at Cronulla Central next weekend at the same times.
