Car crashes into house at Engadine

04 Nov, 2009 09:21 AM
Police have appealed for witnesses after a car crashed into a house at Engadine at about 9.45pm Tuesday.

They said a white Toyota Camry sedan was travelling north along Ridge Road when it veered and smashed through the front fence of a house before hitting a carport pylon.

The driver, 17, and his male passenger, in the front seat, escaped injury.

The occupants of the house, two adults and a baby, were home at the time but were not injured.

The carport collapsed onto the roof of the Camry and will remain there until the damage is assessed today.

Inquiries are continuing.

Anyone with information should contact Sutherland Police Station on 9542 0899 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
