CRONULLA Sharks recorded an impressive trial win in what marked Todd Carney’s unofficial debut for the club.
Taking on premiers Manly at Toyota Stadium on Friday night, the Sharks ran away convincing winners 38-6.
The match saw the teams field almost near full-strength line-ups in the second half.
Meanwhile St George Illawarra lost 28-18 to Canterbury in a trial largely for NSW Cup-based players at WIN Stadium on Saturday night.
