THEY haven't been dancing together for long but these talented youngsters are already making an impact in the hip-hop scene.
Meet Royal Knights - Jake, Kane and Drew of Revesby, Keanan of Miranda, Jarred and Kielan of Caringbah and Kieron of San Souci - a seven-member group aged between 12 and 15 from southern Sydney.
They won their qualifying round of the Hip Hop International Australia over the weekend and now they're headed for the US to compete in the World Hip Hop Dance Championships in August.
Australia is one of 37 countries competing in the event.
The self-taught crew formed only two months before their qualifying round held at Sydney University last weekend.
Aron Koroheke, one of the choreographers and founders of the group, said the crew have just two minutes to impress the judges with a routine.
"We found guys who were passionate about dance," Mr Koroheke, of Miranda, said of the members.
"These guys were really keen to learn and we just picked them and went from there."
Royal Knights have stepped up rehearsals from two to three times a week in the lead-up to the international event.
The crew are holding a variety concert - with dancers, singers and rappers - to raise money to help pay for their travel costs to the US.
Entry is $15; the concert will be from 6pm at Our Lady Star of the Sea at Miranda, on Friday, April 20.
