Free energy reduction seminars at Suttons

10 Feb, 2012 11:22 AM
AS part of their corporate social sustainability and environmental policy, Suttons Mitsubishi, who recently released the all-new electric vehicle, i-MiEV, has offered help to businesses in southern Sydney reduce their energy use.

Rising electricity prices are seen by many businesses as an unavoidable cost increase that they can do nothing to combat - they cannot do anything to stop the rate of increase but they can do a lot to reduce the amount of energy they consume.

Suttons Mitsubishi Arncliffe sales manager Terry Heywood said: "We know businesses are going through tough times at the moment and anything we can do to help them reduce overhead costs has to be beneficial.

"The release of our new all electric vehicle has brought about a new focus within Suttons Arncliffe on energy efficiency and we want to bring to Sydney a programme which will show businesses how they can reduce energy usage and costs in a real and practical way."

Suttons Mitsubishi will run a three-part series where expert presenters will cover such topics as window treatments, how to make your air conditioning system more efficient, energy management and reporting systems, lighting solutions and heat reflective roof paints.

There are 11 topics including behavioural change for staff.

The seminars are free to the business community and will be held at 6pm-8pm at Suttons Mitsubishi Arncliffe, on Monday, February 20; Monday, March 26; and Monday, April 30.

There are limited places available.

Can't sell electric cars without some coercion. Might as well get some green sponsored programs going to bolster all those green jobs promised by Julia Gillard & Co and keep the sales staff employed on subsidies. There's money to made out of the Clean Energy program, if any one's interested, just ring Julia, she'll put you straight.
