THE click-click of knitting needles went from a quiet patter to an orderly march last week as part of the ABC radio's Knit In.
Thousands of people gathered at venues around the country to participate in the 10th national knit-off.
Kogarah Library hosted a group of women who completed 64 pieces that will be donated to Wrap With Love, an organisation that distributes warm garments here and abroad.
A spokeswoman for the library said three knitting groups would welcome donations of eight-ply wool to finish off work started last week.
Knit In started in 2003. Since then more than 1.1 million knitted wool squares have been donated to Wrap With Love.
