ROCKDALE residents are expected to pack into a council meeting tonight after waiting more than a month for decisions on major community applications because seven councillors did not turn up to the last two meetings.
The council faces a backlog of issues such as the reinstatement of committees, measures concerning antisocial behaviour and hoon problems, rent subsidies for preschools, and rehabilitation of the Kyeemagh desalination plant site.
Other items on the agenda include the tenancy of St George Youth Services at its Rockdale premises and the council's financial reports.
Two previous meetings on October 7 and 14 were called off because seven of the councillors were unavailable.
