A man, 38, has been charged over a boat crash that killed Kogarah Bay woman Georgina Kalergis, 34, at Sans Souci last year.

Ms Kalergis died after the 19ft boat crashed at high speed into a pylon of the Captain Cook Bridge on October 21, 2007.

Investigators went to a Monterey house this morning and arrested the man.

He was taken to St George Police Station and charged with aggravated culpable navigation causing death.

He been granted strict conditional bail to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on January 15 next year.
