A KIRRAWEE man, has appeared in court to answer 25 charges dating back to 1977, including four counts of attempted murder.
The man, 61, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was also charged with two counts of choking, two counts of detaining someone for advantage, seven counts of sexual assault, eight counts of assault and two counts of discharging a firearm with intent to cause harm.
The man was arrested at his home on Thursday and police said the offences occurred in various locations in rural NSW.
A non-publication order issued in Sutherland Local Court on Friday restricted publication of any details about the domestic violence-related offences or their locations. Police said allegations were referred to the Professional Standards Command in 2008 and Strike Force Wyle was established to investigate the matters.
The man is due to face Central Local Court on March 13.
Seven alleged victims
CHARGES relating to a seventh alleged sexual assault victim will be included in a brief of evidence against a Sans Souci man who was arrested last year.
The man, 66, was arrested last August and charged with 26 counts of sexual assault dating back 46 years.
Another seven charges were added at Sutherland Local Court in November.
At the time, the charges related to five alleged victims.
A sixth alleged victim was added to the case before it was mentioned in the Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday, where prosecutors told Chief Magistrate Graeme Henson a seventh alleged victim had now come forward.
The first five victims were aged under 18 at the time of the alleged offences which occurred at Oatley, Kogarah, Cronulla and Sans Souci between 1963 and 1987.
Magistrate Henson agreed to adjourn proceedings until March 4 and relaxed the man's bail conditions so he must only report to police two days a week.
No bail for kiss
A SPANISH national who allegedly kissed a boy on the mouth in the toilets of the McDonald's restaurant at Sylvania has yet to apply for bail.
Jorge Manuel Alberich Lombarte, 48, appeared in Central Local Court last Thursday and will not make another appearance until March 4.
The bearded Alberich Lombarte was wearing prison clothes and glasses but appeared less dishevelled than when he faced Waverley Court after his arrest last year.
He was arrested at Sydney Airport in December and charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault and one count each of threatening injury with intent, detaining for advantage and having custody of a knife in a public place.
The charges related to three incidents at McDonald's restaurants on December 12 and 14 at Drummoyne, Sylvania and Cowra.
Police allege that during the incident at Sylvania, the man inappropriately touched a boy, 11, and kissed him on the mouth.
The other two incidents relate to a boy, 4, and a girl, 9, who were both allegedly kissed on the mouth.
Alberich Lombarte's lawyer, Daniel Covington, told Waverley Court last year his client denied being the man depicted in security footage from the Sylvania restaurant.
Police have until March 4 to complete a brief of evidence.
