A DEDICATION ceremony for a new memorial plaque for service personnel of the 45th Infantry Battalion (St George Regiment) will be held at Mortdale Memorial Park this Saturday, November 7, at 11am.
About 140 people are expected to attend including veterans of the St George regiment and representatives of French veterans associations.
The dedication will highlight one of the more curious events of World War II known as the Battle of Cronulla.
