Missing kayaker found at Bundeena

10 Feb, 2012 02:25 PM
EMERGENCY services have found a missing paddler after his overturned kayak was discovered at Bundeena this afternoon.

Westpac Life Saver Rescue director Steve Leahy said police were called the Port Hacking after a kayak was found floating in the ocean about 2pm.

Despite several witnesses seeing a person in the kayak a short time earlier, there was no sign of its paddler.

After an extensive search involving Sutherland Shire Council lifeguards, police, Water Police, surf lifesavers and the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter, a man was found.

Send him the bill for the search and rescue.

Was he just sitting there watching the search ?

He should have told authorities he was ok.!!!
