ACROGYM has started the year on the right foot with two of its pupils selected to compete at the World Championships in Florida.
Renee Blake and Mackenzie Levin have joined the Australian Acrobatics team and will head to the US in April.
Their selection was great news for head coaches and husband-and-wife team Shayley and Matthew Ennis, who have entered their third year as owners.
Acrogym is a combination of acrobatics and gymnastics with lessons based on learning new skills in a fun environment.
It combines the strength and flexibility of gymnastics, the power of tumbling, precision of acrobatics and the grace and poise of dance.
All coaches at Acrogym's Menai and Engadine studios are accredited with Gymnastics Australia.
One of the highlights for the Acrogym performance team in 2011 was their performance slot at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Team members were commended on their showmanship and professionalism when they performed for the crowds daily.
Their energetic routines even landed them an invitation to perform again this year at the show's amphitheatre.
Acrogym will also perform at the Sydney International Gymfest against the best in the world at Cronulla in September.
