The swell has finally increased after a two to three-day flat spell.
The conditions are not pleasant, but at least there are waves and those of you who can turn, can turn on!
The winds are east/south east and have bluebottle potential, these are set to continue to blow into the weekend so even though we will have small waves the surface conditions will not be much to write home about.
Not that I write about much anyway!
Today's pics were taken under extremely trying conditions and shot on my knees due to mono pod failure (and under an umbrella).
Surfers were hard to find, with all the traffic surfing at the Alley, trying to escape the onshore.
Sullo's, Fish fungus,Tooth Fairy (without the obligatory drop in) and Pliddy are the surfers, with one unknown old bloke having a go. The Mick Mackie fish club has also made an appearance two days in a row and one of Macca's Seagulls wanted his picture taken with a real camera. The pic of the blurry Loser, wasn't taken by me but I know who it is!
Summer conditions are starting to set in, so remember the old saying "don't look at it, just paddle out!"
