A 17-year-old P-plater lost his licence after police caught him driving 63kmh over the speed limit at Alfords Point on Friday.
Senior Sergeant Michael Simpson from Sutherland Highway Patrol said the Alfords Point boy, 17, was clocked travelling 143kmh in an 80kmh zone on Alfords Point Road at 9pm.
Police gave a $1642 speeding infringement ticket to the teenager.
Senior Sergeant Simpson said officers caught another 86 drivers speeding during Operation Stay Safe, a four-day road safety blitz over the Queen's Birthday long weekend.
He said officers performed 2800 random breath tests in the shire.
Another 102 motorists were fined for driving under the influence of alcohol or not wearing a seatbelt.
Miranda local area command police breath-tested 570 motorists on Sunday and Monday.
