Speeding? Get the picture

03 Sep, 2008 03:17 PM
A new State Government website lets motorists view images from fixed speed and red light cameras.

Anyone who gets an infringement notice may view the photo taken at the time of the offence at: www.sdro.nsw.gov.au

Roads Minister Eric Roozendaal said the new website was about ''more open and transparent government''.

But anyone viewing photos needs the penalty notice and vehicle registrations numbers and will receive an ''automatically-generated random code'' for extra security.

People may still request copies of the photos by contacting the State Debt Recovery Office on 1300 138 118.
