ST GEORGE Dragons and Cronulla Sharks held their respective junior rugby league presentations recently.
This season was a fairly successful campaign for both districts, with both under-18 SG Ball and under-16 Harold Matthews teams qualifying for the finals series.
St George's under-16s side were the only ones to progress past the first week of the finals campaign before being knocked out by Wests.

In other junior league news, Cronulla trio Matthew Wright, Joseph Roqoko and Chad Townsend along with St George Illawarra under-20 player Cameron King have all been selected in the NSW under-18 side to face Queensland prior to the second State of Origin game on Wednesday. Wright has withdrawn from the game to concentrate of his NRL duties.
