Barrett out for season

27 Jul, 2009 03:21 PM
CRONULLA captain Trent Barrett is set to miss the rest of the NRL season after fracturing his cheekbone and eye socket.

The injury will see Barrett miss at least a month of football and with just six matches remaining for the Sharks it is unlikely he will play again this year.

In better news for the Sharks, former captain Paul Gallen (shoulder) is expected to return when the side faces Parramatta at Toyota Stadium on Sunday.

I do not care who plays for the Sharks, I just hope my Sharks can win more games this season. I sure do not want the Sharks to get the spoon. Give the spoon to the Roosters!!
