ST George Illawarra head into the clash on Sunday knowing that a win will see them just one game away from an elusive grand final spot.
While the $100,000 bonus associated with winning the minor premiership was celebrated on Friday night the side has since focused on the return match against the Eels.
Following their 37-0 drubbing last Friday the Dragons will have a tougher clash this Sunday.
Interchange prop Dan Hunt said he was looking to build from his own performance last week.
"I was pretty happy with my game on Friday night,'' said Hunt, who turned 23 on Monday.
"I just go out and do my job. I ran the ball well and I scored a try and now I have no nudie run to do which I'm stoked about.''
Coach Wayne Bennett has selected the same 17 which easily beat the Eels in the last match.
Half Jamie Soward controversially overlooked for last year's finals game against Manly is the only player in the squad yet to experience a finals match.
Soward won the Dally M five-eighth of the year and the Provan-Summons Medal for the most popular in the game at the awards ceremony on Tuesday night.
While the Eels will welcome back Eric Grothe and Nathan Hindmarsh, it is the presence of Jarryd Hayne at fullback which could cause the Dragons the most damage.
Hunt said his team is focused on looking after themselves.
"They will be a tough opposition,'' Hunt said.
"We've just got to worry about our job.
"We are not going to worry about them.''
The Dragons have beaten the Eels 22-8 and 37-0 in their two previous clashes this season.
Now, they plan on making it three out of three.
