The secret is out...

RUGBY league's worst kept secret was announced officially today, with Wendell Sailor joining St George Illawarra Dragons until the end of next year.

Sailor will play his first rugby league match since 2001 on Saturday for the Dragons feeder club, Shellharbour Marlins, in the Jim Beam Cup.

"I'm excited about joining the Dragons and I am grateful to them for giving me the opportunity,'' Sailor said.

Go Wendell.All the critics should back off and give him a chance. He has paid the price for his mistake and faced up to it like a man.T he pain and work that he has obviously been through to get to this stage will at the very least be an inspiration to his Dragons teammates.

Apparently he is playing a few games for Helensburgh.

Although Helensburgh is one of two Dragon feeder clubs, big Wendell will be playing for Shellharbour on Saturday against Erina in Shellharbour at 5.30pm.

Isn't there enough young talent around that the Dragons resort to signing Sailor who is very close to his use by date.
