Emily is a student at the Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy where the principal Tanya Pearson has coached three previous Prix de Lausanne winners.
Emily's ballet career included a performance on Channel Ten's Everybody Dance Now earlier this year.
She will dance the role of Clara in Sydney City Youth Ballet's production of The Nutcracker at Glen Street Theatre, opening on Tuesday, November 27.
Mrs Pearson has also selected two students from Cronulla, Maddie Peat and Demi Martin, both 18, to compete in a Royal Academy of Dance International Ballet Competition in New Zealand next month.
