STACEY Black, 47, of Kirrawee, is among the thousands of Australians taking part in the Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer on October 12-13.
The 200-kilometre ride from Homebush to Camden and back raises money for the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital to fund cancer research, clinical trials and treatment programs.
Mrs Black, a mother of three, took part in the inaugural ride last year and raised $4000.
She will be riding in remembrance of her father Harley, 77, who died last June of liver and prostate cancers.
"The best thing about the ride is that it is so inspiring," Mrs Black said.
