A MAGAZINE for young people produced by young people has been launched at Brighton-Le-Sands. The anti-racist publication is an educational resource for schools, youth and community organisations.
It is the result of the ideas and strategies suggested by young people during the past four years.
St George Youth Services is behind the one-off publication, We All Smile In The Same Language.
Youth leader Elizabeth Mora has been involved in the magazine project since its inception.
Ms Mora said "the anti-racism youth magazine encapsulated ideas and strategies suggested by young people over the four-year life of the project."
The organisation has a variety of youth and family support programs to prevent violence in the community and ensure a safe community.
St George Youth Services is looking for more funding to continue anti-racism projects. Details: 9556 1769.
