It will now open at 7am instead of 9am.
Initially the supermarket was permitted to operate from 9am to 10pm, seven days a week.
In March this year the council refused a section 96 application to extend the trading hours to 6am and until midnight, seven days a week.
Reasons for refusal included that the application was considered not in the best interests of the community with regard to noise and traffic, and the effect on the amenity of the area.
The supermarket is part of a three-storey mixed use development, including a bulky goods retail store, and a fitness centre which is open between 6am and 10pm daily.
When asking for the extra two hours, the applicant provided acoustic and traffic information which demonstrated that there would be no increase in noise as a result of the additional hours, and that any increase in traffic would be considered negligible.
No submissions were received from surrounding residents.
