IT'S TIME to play futsal and get involved in the community.
After the winter soccer competition is over, keeping up fitness and skills is still important so St George PCYC has set up a futsal competition from August 6 which runs over Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
St George club manager Jason Cursley said futsal was a good sport to play because it was exciting and skilful.
"People will enjoy playing at St George PCYC because it's a new competition, you can see new faces and it supports St George PCYC and the local community," Cursley said.
"Participants can have a great time in the regular soccer off season and get involved in the St George PCYC.
Cursley said it would be a competitive yet fun and social competition.
"St George PCYC aims to become much more active within the local community and we will use the competition as an opportunity to reopen our canteen and start seeing some new faces at the club."
There are all age men's and women's divisions, girls and boys under 16s, he said.
"Possibly incorporating under 14 years and younger depending on demand and timetable."
Interested people should email stgeorge@pcycnsw.org.au and team registration closes Friday August 2.
