IT was good to see "Pom" with a smile on his face at our recovery session in Sydney.

The players dominated the Warriors on Saturday for most of the game, and we would have been very unlucky to lose it in the end.
Ben Pomeroy was the only real casualty in a gutsy effort by our boys after "Pom" knocked himself out just after half time in getting that pass away for the Stapleton try.
The smile shows me he should be OK for the Newcastle game on Saturday night, and I'm really hopeful of making it too.
The Warriors came back at us late in the game with more possession. But really, we could have wrapped the game up through a bit of changed fortune surrounding our young winger Sosaia Feki.
I thought he did brilliantly to chase and grab that kick before it went over the sideline, and it was a harsh call when they disallowed the try because I thought his feet didn't touch the line.
We were leading 16-4 and a green light would have made it much harder for the Warriors.
But they are a tough side, especially at Mount Smart Stadium, and they came back the way I thought they would.
Paul Gallen did a great job playing almost the whole game after two months on the sideline with injury. But it was no surprise to me to see our skipper get through all his carries. That's "Gal".
For my part, I had a run on Saturday and pulled up OK, I had a run Monday and I will do cardio, weights and have a swim Tuesday, before joining the team on Wednesday.
Anthony Tupou is looking pretty good, too, but it is a long week and we're just going to cross our fingers that we'll be right for the Knights game.
We're on 26 points, heading in the right direction and at the same time realising we want to keep on winning.
Wayne Bennett's men will be a tough ask, after their draw with the Broncos, and wanting a top eight berth.
So get out to Remondis Stadium, Sharkies fans, because I can tell you the players all appreciate it when you pack the stadium with blue, black and white.

IN the Under 20s game in Auckland, the Sharks made a game of it before the Warriors dominated the second half to win, 34-14.
