A total of 16 candidates will contest the vital St George seats of Banks and Barton at the September 7 election.
Nominations were declared at midday today, with eight candidates in each seat.
The major parties shared the spoils when positions on the ballot paper were drawn.
Labor’s Daryl Melham gained top position in Banks, while Liberal Nickolas Varvaris gained the number two spot in Barton.
As expected, influential Rockdale councillor Michael Nagi is running as an Independent in Barton.
The full list of candidates, in the order in which they will appear on the ballot paper is:
