Penshurst RSL is preparing for a historic weekend with eight of its rugby league teams playing in grand final matches.
The club has exceeded well beyond any other club in the district and even has two teams playing each other in the 12s grand final on Saturday.
The A grade team from the Inter Cities Combined Competition will compete against Liverpool All Saints on Sunday at Campbelltown Stadium.
The A grade team has done exceptionally well to be in this position, being pulled up from the A reserve in week six of the competition to play in A grade.
The team is hoping to take out the competition and become the first A grade team from Penshurst RSL to win a premiership since 1993. It triumphed over the Berala Bears, 40-10, in the semi-final last week. See a gallery of pictures from the match here.
