The YellowPage-Queensland Fax and the real Yellow Pages.
SCAMwatch has warned small businesses to be aware of the fake "Yellow Pages" business directory scam.
Small business owners have reported receiving a fax purporting to be from "Yellow Page Australia" and "Open Business Directory Ltd".
In reality the fax is an agreement to sign up to an online business directory service charging $99 a month for a minimum of two years.
SCAMwatch advises people to bin or delete such an offer as Yellow Pages publisher Sensis does not approach businesses this way.
