Twin sisters Holly and Emily toured the school they will attend next year with their new year 6 ‘‘buddy’’ Ky.
It was all part of a transition to ‘‘big school’’ program at Narwee Public School.
The day was an opportunity for the school’s latest pupil enrolments to become familiar with aspects of school life.
Children did a test run of what will be their new daily routine by exploring resources and meeting their senior ‘‘buddies’’ who will help get the little ones settled.
The day also gave teachers and support staff the chance to observe behaviour and skills to identify which children may need extra support next year.
