NRL 2014 draw: Sharks, Dragons derbies on Saturday, not Sunday

The Sharks host the Dragons first at Remondis Stadium in round three (March 22) and the Dragons host the Sharks in Wollongong at the season’s halfway mark on June 7.

While the Dragons kick off their season with a Sunday afternoon free-to -air televised game against the Wests Tigers, the Sharks have two consecutive Monday night matches, hosting the Gold Coast Titans and then at Homebush against the Bulldogs.

The Sharks play seven home games in the first 11 rounds, but also have to endure four Monday night games in that time followed by their two byes (rounds 12 and 14) separated by one game.

The Dragons confirmed they will play four games each at Kogarah and Wollongong, with Jubilee Stadium hosting New Zealand Warriors, North Queensland Cowboys, grand finalists Manly and the Gold Coast Titans.
