CLEVER and colourful skills showcased by year 5 pupils from eight primary schools were up in lights at Kogarah Library this month.
It was part of Moorefield Girls High School program to host gifted and talented enrichment workshops for their younger peers.
A group of 40 girls from five St George schools were selected on merit for their abilities and enthusiasm in English literature, visual arts or sport.
Digital portraits, short film promotional posters, textiles and origami were among the artistic creations.
The high school students were inspiring mentors to the juniors for their projects.
Primary schools involved in the workshops were Rockdale, Sans Souci, Carlton South, Brighton-Le-Sands and Arncliffe public schools.
