SUTHERLAND Acoustic's first special event for 2014 will be Sydney-based five-piece folk group Chaika at Tradies Gymea, from 7.30pm on Thursday, February 13.
Described as an outstanding combination of talented musicians and singers, Chaika has been winning audiences around the state.
"They have a very different sound, fusing many different cultures and languages into an exotic mix," said club member Jenny Watson.
"The audience is going to love them."
Also appearing will be union organiser and singer-songwriter George Mann, a regular visitor from the US.
