St George rider looks to World Track Championships

St George rider Ashlee Ankudinoff is included in Australia’s ‘‘long team’’ nominations for the 2014 UCI World Track Championships in Cali, Columbia, from February 26 to March 2. Squad members include triple 2013 World Championship medallist Annette Edmondson (SA) and fellow medallists Amy Cure (TAS) and Melissa Hoskins (WA). Ten-time world champion Anna Meares (SA) and dual world champion Shane Perkins (VIC) are part of the sprint squad but all riders must take part in a pre-Worlds camp in Adelaide before final selections are made.
