VOV Dylan is one of Sydney's recognised and recommended violinists, music teachers and recording artists.
He teaches violin to children as young as 5 and has helped HSC and tertiary students get excellent results in their music exams.
The third-generation musician has helped some of those students become award-winning violinists.
To say Mr Dylan loves the violin is an understatement. His commitment to his craft, and his students and audiences, is unwavering.
"I aim to give my audiences a beat to tap their feet to and dance to, a melody that grabs at the heart strings and a bit of virtuosity and violin magic to leave the jaw dropped and the audience asking how I did it!" he said.
"If I get those three things, plus a few laughs, I'm a happy man."
In 2000, he established the Vov Dylan Orchestra which plays at events, functions, shows and dances across Sydney.
Violin lessons are held at the Ramsgate studio — established in 2007 — on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. He also has studios at Thornleigh and Parramatta.
