IT WAS the turn recently of staff from Hurstville's Commonwealth Bank to "clown around" when they dressed up to raise money for the Clown Doctors.
The Clown Doctors is a not-for-profit organisation that lightens the pressure for 150,000 sick children and their families annually, using humour therapy.
The Clown Doctors visit children's hospitals bringing laughter and joy by parodying the hospital routine, while offering some respite for families, and play an integral part in the healing process.
The Commonwealth Bank's present and retired staff have supported the Clown Doctors for 15 years.
Donations can be made at Westfield Hurstville Commonwealth Bank branch in April or commbank.com.au/clowndoctors
