Prahran's Hanoi Hannah (180 High Street) has been such a hit that the owners have opened Hanoi Hannah Express Lane a few doors down. Formerly an Indian diner, Express Lane has been kitted out with newspapers for wallpaper, sneakers hanging from the ceiling and a blackboard menu of pho, banh mi and rice-paper rolls. There's a handful of seats among the Sriracha bottles and crowds but the emphasis is on takeaway - they'll even run your order out to your car as you pull up.
