Hospital kindness and care
On March 9, I was transported by ambulance to St George Hospital where I was treated in triage with care, kindness and respect by a team of well-trained doctors and nurses before being admitted to Ward 6.
Apart from normal childbirths, this was only the second time I have been in hospital in 74 years.
I thank God I live in a country that has a Medicare system, especially for people on the basic pension.
Do I take all this for granted? Never! Am I eternally grateful? You bet! Thank you all again for your kindness.

Assistance after a fall
I am writing to say thank you to my friends and several others who came to assist me when I fell while walking on The Esplanade on Wednesday morning, April 2.
To the lady who jumped a fence to get ice for my forehead, to Ruth, a nurse who stayed with me until I could be moved, thank you so very much.
Apart from a few bruises, a sore head and neck, things are going OK.
