Seniors from Moran Nursing Home, Sylvania, were treated to a delightful outing to see children share the Easter spirit this week.
All of the children from Oak Tree Early Learning Centre welcomed the residents for their festive celebration with a colourful Easter hat parade.
Centre coordinator Elaine Butler said they had a strong relationship with the home.
"We joined up with them in the past two years, and the kids love putting on events for them'' she said.
"It's surprising how well they interact; the children say hello without being coaxed."
Children displayed their creative hats, which they had worked on during the past week.
There was an Easter egg hunt, a visit by the Easter bunny and an afternoon tea.
