UPDATE 12pm: Police are now investigating shots fired overnight into a Brighton-Le-Sands house.
They released information at 11.30am today saying the occupants of the Rowley Street house discovered damage to the outside at 8am.
St George police and forensic officers then found three bullet holes in the front window.
It is believed the shooting was about 10.15pm Tuesday night; no one was injured.
Operation Talon officers are assisting with the investigation.
Police are investigating whether the Brighton-Le-Sands shots are linked to shootings at Revesby and Bexley North (see below) last night and urge anyone with information about any of the shootings to come forward.
THE opposition spokesman for police and emergency services, Michael Daley, said Premier Mike Baird needed to make stopping these shootings a No.1 priority.
In the first four months of this year there have already been 50 reported shootings in NSW bringing the total to 359 since the Liberals were elected in March 2011. See more in Thursday's Leader.

Shootings at Bexley North and Revesby may be linked say police
Earlier story 8am:
Five people, including two teenagers, escaped injury in a drive-by shooting at Revesby on Tuesday night that police believe may be linked to another shooting on the same night in Bexley.
The two shootings were within an hour and a half of each other at and detectives believe the attacks were targeted.
Police were first called to a home on Carrington Street, Revesby at 9pm to reports that shots had been fired into a house.
Police were told an elderly couple were in the lounge room of their home when an estimated 13 shots were fired into the property from a passing car.
Did you hear the shots or know more?
The bullets missed the couple and their son and his two teenage children who were also at the home at the time.
Police were then called to a home on Bexley Road, Bexley North at 10.20pm following reports that a number of shots had been fired.
They arrived to find a car, with shattered windows, parked on a private property.
No one was in the car at the time, and no one was injured, police said.
Police said they would like to speak to a woman who they believe may have more information about the Bexley North shooting. Police said the woman was not believed to have been involved in the shooting, but they would not provide any further details about her.
Inspector Ian McCarthy, from the Campsie local area command, said police were investigating whether the two shootings were linked given their proximity and the short time frame.
