The Sharks are promoting the Women in League round game on Saturday at Remondis Stadium against Wests Tigers; kick-off will be at 5.30pm.
The Sharks' players will wear a special jersey to mark the occasion.
Sonia Lewis, the wife of Cronulla's Luke Lewis, is the Sharks Women in League ambassador.
She and Luke Lewis are also ambassadors for the McGrath Foundation.
She and Rebecca Stevens, the wife of former Sharks prop Jason Stevens, will be in the Chairman's Lounge at the ground, speaking about the Women in League organisation at 4.30pm on Saturday.
Rebecca Stevens will conduct a question-and-answer forum with her.
Sonia Lewis will take the microphone and be on the field speaking to the crowd at 4.50pm before the main game.
"When I was at Penrith I was involved with Women in League, and it's something I am very passionate about," she said.
"Women are involved in many ways — not just at NRL level but also at the junior level."
She said getting involved in supporting Women in League and the McGrath Foundation is something that drives her.
Today, Thursday, at Summer Salt Restaurant in Cronulla, she is one of the key speakers at the Women in League luncheon, at noon.
- In other news, the Sharks have several members of the Disney On Ice Treasure Trove show which is coming to Sydney in July, to perform during half-time on Saturday.
And on the footy front, prop Andrew Fifita is out for between six to eight weeks after a high-ankle sprain in Cronulla's 42-24 loss to Parramatta on Monday night.
The NSW prop will miss the chance for selection in the first two of the three-match State of Origin series against Queensland.
Fifita had scans after the game, revealing the seriousness of the injury.
Fifita's injury comes on top of the sidelining of playmaker Todd Carney (hamstring) who is out indefinitely.
How do you think Sharks will go against Wests Tigers on Saturday?
FIRST-GRADE TEAM
The Sharks team to play Wests Tigers will be Michael Gordon, Sosaia Feki, Blake Ayshford, Ricky Leutele, Beau Ryan, Luke Lewis, Jeff Robson, Sam Tagataese, John Morris, Bryce Gibbs, Anthony Tupou, Wade Graham, Paul Gallen (C). Interchange: Isaac De Gois, Chris Heighington, Tinirau Arona, Siosaia Vave, Michael Lichaa, David Fifita and Jonathan Wright (three to be omitted).
ORIGIN SELECTIONS
Paul Gallen is a certainty, barring a lighting bolt strike or injury when the NSW State of Origin team is named for the opening game against Queensland on May 28 at Suncorp Stadium. The relentless forward could end up playing front row. Injury to Sharks teammate Andrew Fifita has left NSW coach Laurie Daley a prop short.
HOLDEN, NSW CUPS
The Sharks tackle Wests Tigers at 1.10pm in the Holden Cup clash and 3.15pm in the NSW Cup clash this Saturday at Remondis Stadium.
LEWIS BETTER
Luke Lewis played five-eighth in his comeback for the Sharks against the Eels on Monday night. With Todd Carney injured, coach Peter Sharp plumped for Lewis because of his experience.
