Flood of premiums

I agree with Michael Tynan's letter "Flood prone rulings" (Your View, July 3).

I am 78 and have lived in suburbs surrounding Botany Bay my whole life.

The only people who profit from the deemed flooding risks will be the insurance companies which will use this excuse to increase their premiums yet again.
