A RARE rock crystal skull will be one of the many unique works of art exhibited this weekend at Southern Waters Antiques, Art and 20th Century Design Fair.
The US-made rock crystal skull was one of only 25 in the world, said fair organiser Robyn Johannson.
The fair at Cronulla Sutherland Leagues Club will feature stalls from 45 dealers from as far away as the Blue Mountains including Sydney Clockworks, Dove and Lyre of Newtown, Rosebud Antiques and Hollywood Antiques
"It's something that hasn't been done before in Sutherland Shire," Ms Johannson said. "There are antiques fairs but it is not often you get an event that covers across the board the three genres: art, antiques and 20th century design."
She said art deco, World War II memorabilia, indigenous art, collectible Australian pottery, Scandinavian and Italian glass and 1930s Lea Stein jewellery, lamps, antique buttons, bears and dolls, and rare banknotes and coins would be on display.
Southern Waters Antiques, Art and 20th Century Design Fair at Cronulla Sutherland Leagues Club, 10am-6pm, on Sunday, July 27; entry is $5.
