Class action to help 'cool school'

It will be held at at Club Rivers, Riverwood, at 7.30pm and the school's fund-raising committee hopes to raise more than $12,000.

P&C representative Susie Paino said the money would go towards new technology resources and airconditioners for classrooms, some of which reach temperatures of 40 degrees in summer.

The children have created 14 artworks to be auctioned and there are many prizes to be won including a holiday, an iPad and an impressive assortment of sports memorabilia.

Businesses can support the event by sponsoring a trivia round for $50.
