They tackle semi-final aspirants, Parramatta, this Saturday at Remondis Stadium, Woolooware.
Skipper Paul Gallen, out for the past two weeks with injured biceps, is hoping to play against the Eels.
Lock Anthony Tupou was a late withdrawal from the team.
Sharks coach James Shepherd, formally appointed on Friday for the rest of the season, said it was the win against Penrith was ‘‘full of character’’.
He said the Sharks were anxious to get off the bottom of the premiership table, with six games left to play.
